That is why there are some limits on the shelf life duration and the storage temperature: • Keep truffles in a cool place: Chocolate truffles should be stored in a cool place, ideally between 55-60°F (13-16°C). • Refrigerate for long-term storage: If you plan to store truffles for more than a few days, it’s best to refrigerate them. However, make sure to wrap them in plastic wrap or an airtight container to prevent them from absorbing any unwanted odors or moisture. • After purchase the shelf life is limited to 1 month if the storage temperature is 2-4°C (35-39°F). If you keep candies at the room temperature 21-24°C (71-75°F) the shelf life is 5 days after purchase. • It is very important to keep the product at the temperature that is not higher then 25°C (77°F) due to the nature of chocolate. • Don’t freeze truffles: Freezing truffles can cause the chocolate to crack and the texture to become grainy.
